YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN!

let's heal the world...

When Jesse was asked to bring his sons before Samuel to know who God would choose amongst them, he brought all his grown sons and exempted David - the baby.

David was exempted because he wasn't six feet tall. Because he didn't attend Harvard for his B.Sc. Because he didn't have Aliko Dangote as his godfather. Because he didn't speak the language like Johnny Depp. Because he didn't dress like Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. Because he was not as strong as Dae Batista. Because he was not as gifted as Ben Carson. Because he didn't write as good as Mario Puzo. Because...

But what did Samuel say when he saw David? 'He is the one.'

That was how David went from been a shepherd boy to becoming the king of Israel.

God's ways are not our ways. I do not know of you, but in my generation, I am THE ONE.

I knew from the cradle that whichever way I defined my future was the way it was going to be. Thus, early in life, I garnered audacity and learnt to stage my own plays in the theater of life, believing that I would be whatever I wanted to be...
